in America

Twitter Feed

This project will look at gun violence in the United States of America. After events in 2012 where many mass shootings took place, we were interested as to why gun violence is on the rise.

Observed will be homicides involving guns, federal legislation proposed and/or passed during the observed period, and analysis of locations where gun violence is most prevalent. Information that is used to compile this archive will be noted on each page with links to original content if possible. To get started, click on the "Maps, Graphs, and Charts" link at the top of the page.

This project is ongoing as new information comes out from the FBI and Justice Department regarding each year's homicide statistics. If you are interested in being a part of keeping information up to date, donating time or money to keep the project going, please continue to the "Contact" page.
